The Appalachian Regional Commission has awarded Future Plans a grant through the INSPIRE initiative for Project REACH (Recovery to Employment via Assessment and Coaching, Holistically). The two-year program is part of ARC’s initiative to build and improve recovery ecosystems throughout Appalachia.
Our GRIT project team will partner with Pike County Municipal Court Probation Department, Jackson County Drug Court and Regional Corrections Facility, STAR Justice Center (Scioto County), Ohio Means Jobs, Workforce Development Board #1, ADAMH Boards representing the three service counties, and GRIT grassroots coalitions to improve pathways from incarceration to the workforce for over 500 individuals currently in recovery programs in Pike, Jackson, and Scioto Counties, in Ohio.
