About Terri Bennett
Terri is honored to serve at Future Plans, where the organization is committed to ending poverty one individual at a time by personalizing learning, customizing career pathways, and removing barriers. As EVP of Knowledge and Capacity Building, Terri leads cross-sector initiatives that align education, training, and employer needs; turn assessment data into decision tools; and build local capacity so communities can sustain their own talent pipelines.
Terri’s background spans Ohio College Tech Prep Pathway Coordinator (regional pathway design and compliance), Director of Butler Tech’s Adult Basic Education (Aspire) program (30+ staff, 15+ sites serving adults with barriers), secondary administrator and instructor, curriculum specialist, collegiate coach and instructor, and corporate manager. Across roles, the focus remains on practical, data-informed solutions and innovations: personalized learning, customized career pathways, industry-recognized credential attainment, work-based learning models, discovery experiences that close exposure gaps, and coaching supports that connect people to purposeful, prosperous work.
Terri holds degrees in mathematics and educational leadership, principal and teaching licenses, as well as credentials for Ohio Teacher Evaluator, Project Management, AI, and Lean Six Sigma.
Fun fact: Terri is an avid life-long learner, pickleball player, and overall geek; thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to connect that same passion, energy, and innovation in multiple formats.
