About Lisa Scott
Lisa Scott serves as a Community Outreach Partner at Future Plans, where she helps students in rural communities discover their strengths and connect to new opportunities. With nearly 20 years of experience working in schools and deep roots in Adams County, Lisa is dedicated to supporting students through assessment, coaching, and hands-on programs like job shadowing and internships. She is especially proud of her role in helping students find purpose and direction, including her own niece, whose life was transformed by participating in Future Plans’ summer programs.
Lisa’s day-to-day work centers on collaborating with schools, community organizations, and local agencies to organize career fairs, resource expos, and leadership initiatives like Brown Leads. Known for her approachable nature, strong relationship-building skills, and calm presence, Lisa values honesty, compassion, and practical problem-solving. She is a Navy veteran and an active member of her community, involved in alumni associations and local events.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys traveling, spending time with her two daughters, and caring for her mother. She loves the close-knit spirit of small-town life and is passionate about ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and connected to a brighter future.
