About Pam Mohler

Pam Mohler is the Senior Director of MoveUp, and she is a passionate advocate for helping young people uncover their talents, interests, and direction in life. With nearly 15 years of experience in workforce development, she brings deep expertise in building systems that connect youth to meaningful opportunities. As the founding director of the MoveUp Ohio Project, Pam led a regional initiative across 13 counties in Northwest Ohio, including Lucas, Wood, Fulton, Henry, Williams, and Defiance, designing the partnerships, structures, and coaching processes that made MoveUp a model for youth career readiness. Under her leadership, the project returned more than $50,000 in wages to interns and connected students to transformative experiences, including supporting a young apprentice pursuing a rare path toward becoming a luthier.

Pam’s career has spanned workforce development, chamber and industry partnerships, journalism, and nonprofit fundraising. She has worked with the Associated General Contractors of Northwest Ohio, the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, and multiple community organizations, gaining a 360‑degree view of regional economic needs and the power of cross-sector collaboration. Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in general studies and graduate coursework in public administration, further grounding her work in systems thinking and community impact.

Known for her curiosity, empathy, and ability to build strong bridges between stakeholders, Pam is guided by a simple question: What will help this young person reach their full potential? She approaches every partnership and every student interaction with the belief that career pathways should be accessible, human-centered, and rooted in real opportunity.

Pam lives in South Toledo with her family and is a proud Scout and marching band mom. She is the Past Vice President of Administration for the Scouts BSA Erie Shores Council Executive Board, a role she stepped down from in January to prioritize her health. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, cooking, especially over an open fire, camping, hiking, and exploring national parks across the country.
