By utilizing our comprehensive career assessments, we help students uncover their natural abilities and aspirations early on, providing invaluable insights that inform their educational and career decisions. Our trained career coaches engage students in one-on-one sessions, fostering an environment of exploration and growth where they can visualize their future within the workforce.
In addition to personalized coaching, we offer “experienceships” for high school students, providing them with hands-on opportunities to explore various career clusters. These experiences are designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications, enabling students and young adults to connect classroom knowledge with practical skills. By engaging with Future Plans, students gain not only clarity about their career prospects but also the confidence to pursue further education, certifications, and apprenticeships that align with their discovered interests. Building a STEM Workforce
We are committed to inspiring and preparing youth to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), which are critical fields for future innovation and growth. Through our targeted programs and initiatives, we provide students with access to cutting-edge resources and mentorship opportunities that nurture their interest in STEM disciplines.
To bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world applications, Future Plans offers experiential learning opportunities, such as internships and project-based experienceships, where students can engage directly with STEM professionals. These experiences are designed to ignite curiosity, foster critical thinking, and build the practical skills required in the STEM workforce.
Justice Impacted
We support justice-impacted adults by providing them with resources and guidance to successfully reintegrate into the workforce and community. We understand the unique challenges faced, and our programs are tailored to build a collaboration of community resources that can address barrier removal. Through personalized career coaching and skills assessments, we help individuals see their greatness and define a pathway with actionable hope. We strive to build a foundation for sustainable employment and personal growth, contributing positively to their lives and the community as a whole.
Treatment & Reentry
Future Plans works closely with treatment agencies to build capacity for the workforce development component of the healing process. When individuals understand their value, see a place in the workforce, and develop new friends and a community, the recovery process is more successful. Through a collaborative approach, Future Plans is expanding the workforce of Peer Recovery Supporters as a means of developing work opportunities for individuals who are reentering the workforce while also providing the additional supports needed for individuals in recovery.
Dislocated Workers
Future Plans is dedicated to assisting adults who have lost their jobs or have been dislocated due to changing economic conditions. Our programs are designed to provide a lifeline by identifying and harnessing each individual’s unique strengths and aptitudes, aligning them with viable career pathways. Through personalized career assessments and one-on-one coaching sessions, we help individuals explore new industries and job opportunities that match their skills and interests. By fostering connections with local businesses and resources, Future Plans ensures individuals have the support and tools they need to transition smoothly into rewarding and stable employment, paving the way for a renewed sense of purpose and financial security.
