Recruitment for Future Plans’ flagship program, the GRIT Summer Program for graduating high school students, is underway this Spring. We aim to double our enrollment (400+) with the expansion to six training providers who will help students acquire valuable skills that can lead to well-paying jobs in high-demand industries.
Future Plans is grateful for the following providers:
- Ashtabula County Technical & Career Campus (A-Tech)
- Rio Grande Community College
- Shawnee State University
- Washington County Career Center
- Belmont College
- Hocking College/Tri-County Career & Technical Center
The GRIT Summer Program empowers high school seniors by offering workforce credential certifications and internship or job placement opportunities immediately after graduation. Our goal is to give students short-term training and certified workforce credentials aligned with sought-after industries, preparing them for either further postsecondary education and training or a direct transition into the workforce.
